PACE Week 2

This was the second week of our PACE.

Thanks for the good lunch. We had a sandwich and also a cup of coffee to kick start our second week of community service. We visited the high school once again. We were allocated with a boy student this week because the student we consulted last week was late. It was pretty fun and great experience.

English subject was conducted in the class. And the main topic was "part of speech". Our mentee seems very shy to participate in the class activity. We tried really hard to communicate with him by explaining the details of the topic and encourage him to communicate with us in English.

Despite there are some problems to communicate with the mentee, he is able to understand what the class is teaching and obtained the ability to answer the given questions.

After the proper teaching period, we started the game session. Everyone was really excited about this and we really had a lot of fun! We were having Charades session.

After the Charades session, they were asked to do the PACE questions. We encourage our mentee to read out loud for the passage given. My mentee is still quite shy, so I have to guide him along to encourage him to participate in reading.

It was another great experience and looking forward to join them in the future!
